15-years ago today, I was in the ICU fighting for my life. Months later, they recommended hospice.
Never give up. Theres no telling what life is waiting for you to do, or what someone else will need you to do.

Seit ich im Sommer 2022 in eine Woche lang mit anpacken durfte, schaue ich ganz anders auf gut gepflegte , weil ich nun wei, wieviel Arbeit dahinter steckt.
Um so erschtternder ist es, lesen zu mssen, dass der Organisation im wunderschnen dank der AmericaFirst-Politik die finanziellen Mittel komplett gestrichen wurden.
Seit gestern luft deshalb bis zum Monatsende eine , die ich hiermit etwas promoten mchte.
Das Trail-Projekt wird von sehr engagierten und netten Menschen aus Amerika sowie vor Ort im Kaukasus vorangetrieben, anvisiert wird ein 3000Km Trail durch , und .
Ein Muss fr jede Weitwandererin und Weitwanderer.

Since I was able to help out for a week in in the summer of 2022, I look at well-maintained trails in a completely different way because I now know how much work goes into them.
It is all the more shocking to read that the organization in the beautiful has had its funding completely cut thanks to the America First policy.
As a result, a fundraising campaign has been running since yesterday until the end of the month, which I would like to promote here.
The trail project is being driven forward by very committed and friendly people from America and locally in the Caucasus. The aim is to complete a 3000km trail through Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.
A must for every long-distance hiker.

Reviewing Book2 (about 33% of the way in a day). My editing skills had obviously improved by Book3.
So, more of doing that on a mild day, my windows at last open. Ill walk, do some cleaning.

This is the story of the erosion battle in the Rockies. To fight it, the forest service places barriers to channel rainwater.
Then, mountain bikers go around it, creating a new trail and, eventually, a new channel. There are trail channels the bikes have cut that are absurdly deep.
To be fair, Ive seen lazy hikers go around it, too, rather than step over it.

Yesterday, I went exploring. Literally. At each juncture, I took the trail least traveled. What an amazing experience!
About 50F/10C, slight breeze, sunny. I topped a ridge & witnessed a snowstorm on Lolo Peak.
