For those familiar with the Giant, version 1 posted last week was from the Red Triangle Trail just above its junction with the Violet Trail. This one was taken 5 minutes later walking west along the Violet.

The main trails within the city are paved. Come cold weather, they used to spread coarse sand. No more, apparently.
Now, I walk beside the pavement & warn everyone about the black ice.
It would seem that Im blazing my own trail.

Yesterday, in my travels, I encountered a woman & her little dog who embodied what the season should be about.
And she didnt even mention the season except to wish me Merry Christmas at the last.

The morning was errands. This afternoon and evening is all about drafting my novella. Im here for it! Over 800 words in the last hour.
So, on the day it wasnt supposed to snowits snowing. Thus far, it isnt sticking, which makes it rain masquerading as snow. How devious!
