We had snow mixed with rain yesterday, most leaves having fallen. The snow line continues to sink. Id estimate it at below 7,000 ft (2,134m) now.
Im at 3,209 ft (978m).
My busy week of errands has ended at last. Thatll help focus my mornings better.

The snow line continues sinking, along with the temperature. Thats okay. The bigger hiking consideration is the shrinking daylight.
Made it through the books appendices, which, as references, are pretty dry reading.

A little hard to see the creek in the middle there. Caught this a day or two before full color and planned to go back but a storm took a lot of the leaves down. Hard to catch the timing on the fall colors and sometimes, weather .

Our typical autumn weather has settled in, the nights well below freezing, the days just over freezing, & clouds overhead. The tallest nearby peak remains crowned in white.
